Our health department is committed to community based education and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. Our health educators and clinicians offer health education programs to the community throughout the year. Our programs include:

- Helping Hands in Hard Times Packets – useful information regarding our medical, environmental and health education services and programs and our partnerships with other organizations. - A Matter Of Balance – emphasizes practical strategies to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels. Please contact Karen Kakar (859) 885-4149 Ext. 1007 for next available class schedule.
- Couldn’t find Asset with ID=89Our yoga classes are offered to ages 16-62 at this time. Our classes use a breath-synchronized format to help bring awareness to the breath as we move from pose to pose. For class dates, times and locations please contact Kimberly Simpson (859) 885-4149 Ext. 1019.
- Strong Women Program – a free exercise program to help middle aged and older women improve their health and well being through strength and balance training. Our next class starts August 23, 2011. For details on class times and to read more facts click HERE
- Body Recall is a free 8 week program targeting the living longer population and/or anyone interested in increasing flexibility, balance and circulation while decreasing the risk for fall related injuries.
